Guerra: "We have to use this point to improve"
The midfielder considers the point to be a fair one
Valencia CF midfielder Javi Guerra talked about the draw with Deportivo Alavés on LaLiga Matchday 9.
The draw
“It was a very fair point. The game was fairly evenly matched, and a draw was a fair result. The start was very good for us, but then they pushed harder. Mendizorroza is a difficult ground to come to, and they play with a direct style. The team were united and compact. Overall, it was a good match, and the point was fair.”
Recent results
“We were in a difficult situation. We came here to win, but we couldn't do it. The team, at times, played well. We're struggling away from home, and we have to use that to push ourselves to improve.”
The fixture against Villarreal CF
“Villarreal CF are doing well, but at Mestalla, with our fans behind us, we feel strong, and we're already focusing on getting the three points.”
